That's from my first game I programmed for independent release by me. I've done some programming gigs here and there for some clients, but had not done anything for my own endeavours.It's based on the fast pace these social networking sites come by and dissappear, and how addictive it is to gain as many friends, followers, etc, and let them know everything about your life. 15 seconds of fame, is literally how long web fame lasts. 1.Me without a hat, reason, We were waiting for the news people to finish so we could attend an afterparty at some fancy hotel, so I had to dress fancy.

2.I had to hide my Diet Coke can, I usually have a couple behind the monitor. I'm trying to save the world, by recycling cans.

3.I had to hide my ipod. My ipod is always connected. When I don't forget it.

4.I don't have earphones on, I always have them on....

5. I silkscreened my own dragon design on that shirt, thought it's blurry in the image.

6.There's two monitors on my desk. Only one is plugged, been lazy to buy the adapter to hook the other one up, though I work on two monitors at home.

8.The dude standing next to me is the company's CEO, and the girl in the black and white poster behind him is his daughter. She's the voice of kidthing heard on the current video on the homepage of the website.

9.I cleaned my desk, but somehow it always looks messy regardless.

11.I no longer work on that computer, I've changed computers 3 times since then, due to a wonky FONT making me believe the computers were defective.

12.We were supposed to leave the office at 4:30pm. The time of this footage is roughly 6:30pm. We were all off the clock pretending to work.

13. I was making stuff up, and was really stiff and nervous....

14.That's not Lisa's artwork on the screen, I at one point said, "I have to make it look cool".

15.There's a screaming slingshot monkey that has a "Hire Me" pin button that kinda blends with my hair in this particular shot.

16. The group of papers on the wall to the right of the huge red ribbon above my head, are sketches of Nicholas Night as the Lorax, that we all drew.

I've applied for the special and very rare opportunity to attend a special "Flash Animation" class that is going to be held on Saturdays during May, and one final class on the first weekend of June. Taken from the Coldhardflash post "The class is being hosted and taught by 5 of the best independent animation studios in Los Angeles - Animax, Oddbot, Renegade, Six Point Harness and Titmouse." This is something I did for FUN using the source files that were given to take two Flash test.

Why I haven't posted..... not sure anybody even reads my blog....anyways, I'm still recovering from the last couple of days, I had no weekend, and worked 10 hour+ days, which might be a good thing nowadays... right?

Anyways, this is what I was working on:

I animated the page flips, usually we have actionscript code handle them but due to the unique design and layout of this project, we just didn't go that route. I also animated 3 of the kid's submissions, I didn't redraw anything, just cut out their art and did short animations, I got interesting results. This project has gotten some news coverage, check it out the links, couldn't embed here.

Ok this post has nothing to do with animation, or art, well maybe art, ok, umm it has to do with my creativity, and how I see the world differently... I guess. So bartending is a hobbie of mine, and aspire to one day, maybe, just maybe, host my own parties at my house and bartend, or bartend weekend gigs or something along those lines.Anyhow, I bought this 3 Panel Candle Holder, and when I saw the little glasses that hold the actual candles, the thought that came to mind is those look like shot glasses. So if you are invited to a party or a gathering by me in the near future, you might just be able to see this in person. We are calling it "The Great Wall O' Shots!". Its not meant to be as a let's get wasted on shots, but an invitation to get the party started, a greeting of a sort, anyhow, here are the Pictures....

Finally done with Animation and sound for this(Street Fighter II Newgrounds Animation). I wasn't too happy with the ending at first, so I kept thinking about how to give it that extra POW!, and last minute, I added in some stuff as always.

Yes....Somebody gets hurt, after all it is a Street Fighter Animation!

I was suppose to finish up animation on the Street Fighter piece for Newgrounds today but got carried away by some audio I came accross last nite. It's President Obama using some pretty funny colorful language, I couldn't help it, I had to do something with it. An animation might have taken too long, so I did this lil widget instead. Feel free to embed anywhere you'd like. I'll post whatever simple sketches I did for this later.

Two more screenshots from the Street Fighter II animation I'm working on for the Newgrounds Collab. I was going to post more, but it might reveal the story too soon. Anyway, animation is almost done, I just have to go back an add details like shadows, and highlights and what not, and then will move onto drawing BGs.

I took advantage of my 40 minute Metro ride to work yesterday and sketched up some more character designs for Ryu. My news post on Newgrounds yesterday totally sucked. Revver was down, so my video of my dog doing a lil spin everytime he hears his name was unavailable most of the day yesterday, and the images I wanted to embed into the post didn't show up.... All in all, it was a waste of a front page post. Anyways, here are the sketches

This image above was going to be the final version of the design but decided to modify it a bit more to get the results I wanted which led to the first top image on this post.

Can't wait to start animating this thing, hopefully tomorrow morning. I'll post screenshots of the vector art once I start.

I've continued working on my Tiki, and here are the latest pictures.

Setting up the top of the mask, this was a bit hard, so I applied some sculpey behind a business card I cut out to form the shape, and then crazy glued them together, and started layering sculpey all around.

The Sculpey is baked, and gesso has been applied.

This is a new project I'm taking on. Sorry for the blurryness of the pictures but my digicam finally gave out, so I'm using my blackberry as a temporary camera. I have so many projects going on. But this is my main priority right now. I had a crazy idea(s) that might just work, so I'm experimenting with that right now.

I cut the face in half, and inserted some gadgetry.

Here's a close up, I know it's blurry, but basically, there's a wire, and a light with some small batteries crazy glued to the neck... no it's not a bomb.

I crazy glued some clear marble for the eyes on the front half of the face, but on the inside of it.

This is the front of the face, don't worry, It will not look this scary once it's done.

This is it, with it's face temporarily back in place, just for now, until I figure out a solution of how to attach the face back on without making it permanent, and allowing it to be painted.

This is my second tiki, and it's for the NG DIY MUNNY COMPETITION that Newgrounds hosted, even though it is not a munny, it was inspired by a custom munny that NG author Luis customized over a weekend. I'WZL are much cheaper than Munny's so they opted to use I'WZLs instead, and it was a great idea.

So I finished my custom I'WZL tiki. I need to take the final display pictures though, these were taken at night, and I started a new custom I'WZL Mushroom. I'm almost done. More to come soon.

So I painted the leaves, and painted the base, and added some gloss to it. I'll be adding gloss to the leaves as well. This has been so much fun, can't wait to finish it and put it all together.

So I got the chance to work on my tiki. I painted it, and sculpted some background props. It's going to be on a base that I prepared with Gesso, and will be painting soon, since the mask is too heavy, and falls forward. More to come soon.

This weekend I went out and bought a heat gun, so I can harden the Super Sculpey out. Then after the Sculpey was hard, I got some sandpaper, and started smoothing out some round edges, I also scraped the front to give it some texture, my experience with Sculpey has taught me that slices made with an Exacto knife to give texture don't look too good hahaha. The sandpaper gave me the desired effect. Up next I will be painting this sucker.

I decided to get away from Flash animation for a while, not completely, but at least put it in the background for a bit. I wanted to venture into different realms of the artworld. This is something I have been interested in doing for a while, and have just recently discovered where to buy these little fellas, I'm gonna start with IWZLs, and move up to Munny's, and Dunny's. This here is me starting out my first Tiki.

Gonna do some paintings too, and Illustrations.
